Vietnam Day 4 - Hue
We took the local tour bus - Opentour, from Hoi An to Hue. It was a 4 hours ride and it stopped at a beach (which I forgot what is the name) and the marble mountain.
This old man who took picture with jm actually asked for a dollar for being the 'model'. Faint! And, of course being the stingy singaporeans, we refused to give him even a cent. LOL. I realised the old man was so dark that I can't see his features. Muahahaha.
When we reached Hue, we were immediately surrounded and pestered by the touts. Argh. Horrible experience. However, we were very comforted by our hotel! Orchid hotel! It is only a three-star hotel but the facilities and service definitely worth more than that. As the previous occupant of our supposed room checked out late, we got a free upgrade to a family suite! woohoo. Imagine our thrill when we saw the king-sized bed :) The hotel also offered free rental of dvds and free internet. As there was nothing much to do at Hue at night, we either use the net or watch dvds. And, we had watched tickets, freedom writers and blood diamond there. LoL.
We went for lunch at this local eatery that was owned by a young man. He was known as Hue's Don Juan. Haha. He's really quite cute ^-^ Other than selling food, he also helped to organise local tours. Hence, the place is called - 'Stop & Go'.

We didn't do anything much during our first day in Hue. As I was still suffering from the effects of my food poisoning, we spent alot of time sitting down too. Haha. The boat trip on our second day was much more happening!
